Terms of Service

By accessing or using Gigschat, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Your continued use of the Service after any modifications to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service.

Gigschat provides an AI-powered career assistance platform for professionals in the Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365, and Copilot AI ecosystem. The Service includes, but is not limited to:

• AI-powered job search across multiple sources, filtered to the Microsoft ecosystem
• Resume tailoring with ecosystem-specific terminology and ATS optimization
• Cover letter and outreach message generation
• Interview preparation with module-specific questions and mock interviews
• Job application pipeline tracking and management
• AI-generated career guidance and recommendations

AI-generated content. Gigschat uses artificial intelligence, including third-party AI services, to generate content such as tailored resumes, cover letters, interview briefs, outreach messages, and job recommendations. While we strive for accuracy and relevance, AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all AI-generated content before using it in any professional context, including but not limited to job applications, interviews, and professional communications. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

Job listings. Gigschat aggregates job listings from third-party sources. We do not create, verify, or endorse any job listing that appears in search results. We are not responsible for the accuracy, legitimacy, or availability of any job listing. We do not guarantee that any job listing will result in employment.

No employment guarantee. Gigschat is a career assistance tool. We do not guarantee employment outcomes, interview invitations, application responses, or any specific results from using the Service. Your success in finding employment depends on many factors beyond our control.

Service availability. We aim to provide reliable, uninterrupted access to the Service, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.

Account creation. To use Gigschat, you must create an account using a valid email address or a supported third-party authentication provider. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account information current.

Account security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at hello@gigschat.com if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

One account per person. Each user may maintain one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits, abuse free tiers, or for any other deceptive purpose is a violation of these Terms and grounds for termination.

Account data. You retain ownership of the personal data you provide to Gigschat, including your resume, profile information, and any documents you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and transmit your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This license terminates when you delete your account.

You agree to use Gigschat only for its intended purpose as a career assistance tool. You agree not to:

Misuse the Service:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose
• Submit false, misleading, or fabricated information in your profile, resume, or any other content
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or identity
• Use AI-generated content without reviewing and verifying it for accuracy
• Use the Service to spam, harass, or send unsolicited communications to employers or individuals

Abuse the platform:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other user accounts, or our systems
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security features or usage limitations of the Service
• Use automated scripts, bots, or other tools to access the Service in a manner that exceeds normal human usage
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service for any purpose not explicitly authorized by us
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service

Harm others:

• Upload content that contains viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Use the Service to collect, store, or share personal information of others without their consent
• Use the Service in any manner that could damage, overburden, or impair our infrastructure

Violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without notice.

Our intellectual property. The Service, including its design, features, code, AI models, knowledge base, branding, logos, and all related materials, is owned by Gigschat and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in our intellectual property except as expressly stated.

Your content. You retain ownership of the content you provide to Gigschat, including your resume, profile information, and uploaded documents. By submitting content to the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use, process, and store that content solely to provide and improve the Service. This license does not grant us the right to sell, publish, or distribute your content to third parties, except as described in our Privacy Policy (specifically, processing through third-party AI services necessary to operate the Service).

AI-generated content. Content generated by Gigschat's AI features — including tailored resumes, cover letters, outreach messages, and interview preparation materials — is generated for your personal, professional use. You are free to use, modify, and distribute AI-generated content as you see fit. However, we make no representations or warranties regarding the originality, accuracy, or fitness for purpose of AI-generated content. You are responsible for ensuring that any AI-generated content you use does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.

Feedback. If you provide us with suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate that feedback into the Service without any obligation to compensate you.

Trademarks. “Gigschat,” the Gigschat logo, and related marks are trademarks of Gigschat. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission. “Microsoft,” “Dynamics 365,” “Power Platform,” “Copilot,” “Dataverse,” and related names are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation. Gigschat is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft Corporation.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We expressly disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant that job listings are accurate, current, or legitimate. We do not warrant that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, original, or suitable for any particular purpose.

In no event shall Gigschat, its founders, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, employment opportunities, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising out of or related to your use of the Service shall not exceed the total amount you have paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or fifty US dollars ($50), whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

By you. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through the account settings or by contacting us at hello@gigschat.com. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms or our Acceptable Use policy
• Abusive, fraudulent, or unlawful behavior
• Conduct that is harmful to other users, the Service, or our business interests
• Extended periods of inactivity (accounts inactive for more than 24 months may be subject to deletion after notice)

Effect of termination. Upon termination, your right to access and use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including the data retention timelines described therein. Sections 5 (Intellectual Property), 6 (Limitation of Liability), and 8 (Governing Law) shall survive termination.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in New Jersey, United States. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on our website. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice through the application or via email.

Material changes will take effect 30 days after the updated Terms are posted, unless we specify a different effective date. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account before the changes take effect.
