About the Role Sellers is seeking a new Financial Analyst who will support the organization’s financial planning and analysis activities and contributes to data‑driven decision‑making across the business. As a Financial Analyst, you assist in preparing financial reports, analyzing performance trends, and providing data backed dashboards and deliverables for teams such as Accounting, Client Servicing, Sales, and corporate leadership. You play a key role in supporting monthly financial close activities, maintaining revenue and expense forecasts, building upon the P&L knowledge to better present performance metrics to firmwide leadership through dashboards. These dashboards will be presented in Microsoft PowerBi; therefore, experience working in PowerBi and Microsoft’s suite of products is strongly required for successful candidates. You are detail oriented and energetic about growing your career in Finance, while working to support leadership decision making, and developing a greater understanding about the industry and the impact Sellers Dorsey has on the Medicaid population in this country. Key Responsibilities Financial Data Preparation: Support firmwide financial forecasting by gathering, organizing, and validating financial data. Assist in preparing revenue and expense variance summaries and contribute to basic P&L analysis for leadership and practice leads. Performance Reporting Support: Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly performance reports and updating data visualizations. Help Finance Leadership with routine reporting packages, variance explanations, and departmental performance summaries that inform decision‑making and alignment to corporate objectives. Netsuite Data Extraction & System Reporting: Validate financial data from NetSuite and other systems to ensure accuracy and transparency. Maintain reporting files, support data clean‑up efforts, and contribute to process improvements as the Finance team transitions to NetSuite. Exposure to SQL or interest in learning is beneficial. Budget Cycle Assistance: Provide support during the annual budgeting process by collecting inputs from cross‑functional teams, maintaining templates, and helping prepare preliminary budget models and schedules. Ad‑Hoc Analysis & Projects: Assist with ad‑hoc financial analyses, research, and reporting requests from Finance Leadership. Contribute to special projects that may be shared with senior leadership or the Board. Key Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. A strong candidate typically has 1–3 years of experience in a financial analysis, data analytics, or similar quantitative role. Exceptional recent graduates will be considered if they demonstrate strong data acumen, comfort with financial software, and a highly detail‑oriented working style. Foundational financial modeling skills and familiarity with data visualization tools and ERP systems. High‑level proficiency with analytical systems/tools, including strong Excel skills and experience with Power Query for data transformation and automation. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint). Advanced understanding and working experience with Power BI or other data visualization platforms. Exposure to NetSuite and interest in developing deeper system expertise. Experience working with ERP or CRM systems and supporting reporting or data analysis within those systems preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment preferred. Flexibility and willingness to take on a wide range of projects and analyses as business needs evolve. Other Requirements Strong analytical, data collection, and problem‑solving skills. Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple levels of the organization. Interested in having the opportunity in a smaller firm to be able build data that will eventually find its way to firmwide leadership and have opportunities to present to tea leadership data backed finding & insights. Interest in improving firmwide technology systems and contributing to process enhancements for a growing company. Compensation & Benefits The anticipated salary range for candidates is $80,000/year to up to $90,000/year. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, the candidate’s education, and the candidate’s market location. Typically, candidates are not hired near the top of the range and compensation decisions are made based upon Sellers Dorsey’s Total Compensation Policies & Guidelines. The successful candidate will also be eligible to participate in our annual Corporate Incentive Plan (CIP) that can range to up to 7% of annual salary. Provided they meet all eligibility requirements under the applicable plan documents, the successful candidate (and their eligible dependents) will be eligible to enroll in group healthcare plans that offer medical, dental, and vision and for insurance plans offering short term disability, long term disability, and basic life. Employees are also able to enroll in Sellers Dorsey’s 401k plan provided they meet plan requirements. Sellers Dorsey offers a Flexible Time Off that allows employees to use what they need. Additionally, we offer 10 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, paid time off for qualifying medical leave, and up to 12 weeks of combined paid parental and bonding leave.
