Overview We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Power Platform Developer specializing in Power Apps, Microsoft Fabric, Power Pages, and Power Automate to join our forward-thinking technology team. Duties • Design, develop, and deploy custom applications using Power Apps, Power Pages, and Microsoft Fabric to meet diverse business needs. • Automate workflows and processes by creating robust solutions with Power Automate, integrating with various data sources and APIs. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into scalable digital solutions, and ensure seamless user experiences. • Integrate Power Platform solutions with enterprise systems such as Azure Data Lake, SQL Server, Oracle, and Hadoop-based big data environments. • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for secure data exchange between applications and external services. • Implement data models, database designs, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using tools like Talend, Informatica, or custom scripting in Python or Bash. • Conduct analysis of large datasets utilizing Spark, Hadoop, Apache Hive, or Looker to derive actionable insights for strategic decision-making. • Participate in Agile development cycles to deliver iterative improvements while ensuring high standards of code quality and documentation. Skills • Proven experience with Microsoft Power Platform components: Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate, and Microsoft Fabric. • Total IT experience should be at least 10+ years • Strong understanding of cloud services such as Azure Data Lake and Azure Data Factory for scalable data management solutions. • Proficiency in SQL Server, Oracle databases, and Big Data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, Hive for data processing and analysis. • Knowledge of ETL tools like Talend or Informatica for efficient data integration workflows. • Programming skills in Python, Shell Scripting (Bash), VBA or similar scripting languages for automation tasks. • Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration techniques for seamless system interoperability. • Experience designing data warehouses and implementing database schemas optimized for analytics performance. • Expertise in analysis skills including model training and advanced analytics techniques to support business intelligence initiatives. • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies to facilitate collaborative project delivery within fast-paced environments. • Additional skills such as Java development, familiarity with AWS cloud services, Looker BI platform knowledge, or experience working with Linked Data can be advantageous.
