For our business, for clients, and for you Job Title: Power BI Developer Location : Mumbai Job Summary We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Power BI Developer with 2–3 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Power BI, data modeling, DAX, SQL, and dashboard development. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, and development teams to deliver insightful reports and dashboards that support data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards. Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into reporting solutions. Create and manage data models, relationships, measures, and calculated columns. Develop complex DAX calculations and KPIs. Connect Power BI to multiple data sources, including SQL Server, Excel, APIs, and cloud-based systems. Optimize report performance and ensure data accuracy. Create reusable datasets, dataflows, and semantic models. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and provide analytical insights. Troubleshoot and resolve report, dashboard, and data refresh issues. Maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, and data models. Support report deployment, testing, and user acceptance activities. Required Skills 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Power BI. Strong understanding of: Power BI Desktop Power BI Service Power Query DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) Data Modeling Good knowledge of MS SQL Server and SQL queries. Experience in designing dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reports. Understanding of data warehousing concepts and star schema design. Experience in creating drill-through, drill-down, bookmarks, and interactive visualizations. Knowledge of report publishing, workspace management, and security implementation (RLS). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills Experience with Microsoft Fabric or Azure Data Services. Knowledge of SSIS, SSRS, or other BI tools. Experience with REST APIs and data integration. Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Git. Understanding of ETL processes and data transformation techniques. Desired Candidate Profile Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into meaningful visualizations. Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Nice to Have Experience with Microsoft Fabric. Exposure to Azure Synapse Analytics or Azure Data Factory. Experience in real estate, finance, analytics, or enterprise reporting domains.
