MS Fabric Data Engineer ๐Ÿ’ฐ Salary: $150,000 - 190,000 per year At Vaco LLC we are looking for a Data engineer! ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Our tech stack: AI, Azure, Data Warehouse, ETL, ERP, Fabric, Support, Power BI, Python, PySpark, SAP, SQL, Salesforce, Security, Spark, Cloud, Data ๐Ÿ“ Rquirements: - We require 2+ years of experience in data engineering, data integration, or enterprise data platform development. - We require 2+ years of hands-on experience with Azure data technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, or similar Microsoft platforms. - We need strong SQL development skills, including the ability to optimize complex data transformations. - We value experience with Python, PySpark, Spark SQL, or comparable scripting and programming tools used in modern data engineering. - We require experience designing and implementing data lake, lakehouse, or data warehouse solutions. - We seek a strong understanding of dimensional modeling, semantic modeling, and reporting-oriented data structures. - We require experience building and supporting ETL and ELT pipelines across multiple source systems. - We need familiarity with Power BI datasets and semantic models, along with the engineering practices that support governed reporting environments. - We require experience with data quality, reconciliation, lineage, and documentation practices. - We need someone who can thrive in a fast-moving environment where source data, requirements, and processes are still evolving. - We require strong communication skills and the ability to partner directly with both technical teams and business leaders. - We prefer a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Analytics, or a related discipline. - We will also consider equivalent practical experience in enterprise data engineering. - We require U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain a U.S. security clearance. ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ’ป๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ’ป Your responsibilities are: - We will have you build and strengthen our modern analytics platform across Azure and Microsoft Fabric. - We need you to develop and support automated pipelines that move data from business applications, supplier and customer portals, and operational databases into a unified environment. - We will rely on you to create raw, curated, and business-ready data layers that enable repeatable analytics, executive dashboards, and self-service reporting. - You will integrate and standardize data from Epicor, JobBOSS, SAP ECC, Salesforce, Azure SQL, and other internal and external systems. - We expect you to design reusable data models, dimensions, facts, and business logic for quote-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory, manufacturing, service, finance, and KPI reporting. - We will count on you to implement data quality validations, exception handling, reconciliation routines, and monitoring to improve reporting trust and reduce manual effort. - You will support Power BI delivery through governed semantic models, dataset tuning, security setup, and drill-through to source-level transaction details. - We need you to help define and apply role-based access, row-level security, object-level security, and workspace governance aligned with company policy and regional privacy needs. - You will document source-to-target mappings, data lineage, business rules, data definitions, and engineering standards. - We will have you assess the current integration landscape, including manual feeds, direct SQL access, and middleware processes, and help shift the organization to more scalable, controlled patterns.
